I saw the following antisemitic translation in an academic journal:

There are those who say about this villain, Shimon Peter the ass/donkey (peter hamor),19 that great error of Rome (i.e., the church founded by Peter), that he established this prayer (i.e., the Nishmat) and other prayers when he sat on the rock. God forbid that such a thing could happen in Israel!"20

The correct translation is:

"And some say about that, a Nabal Shimon is Peter Hamor -which is a mistake of Rome- who established that prayer [Neshmat] and other prayers when he was on the rock. But peace and blessings that such will not be (said) in Israel. And whoever says this, when the Temple is built, he will bring a fat offering."
