He also wrote a commentary on [[Rif]]'s ''[[Sefer HaHalchot]]'', although only the section on tractate Berachot survives. He wrote several smaller works, including a commentary on Avot. He studied under Rav Shlomo Montpelier, and he taught, among others, [[Rashba]].&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
