Herod Agrippa II was an Edomean Jew whose Sanhedrin formed Torat Edom around the Torah of the Well-Known Man according to the תליית ישו. Later, the Edomeans found themselves on the Imperial Throne of Rome. Thus Christians, Rome and Edom all came to be associated with each other in Jewish tradition.

Herod Agrippa II was succeeded by Tiberius Claudius Atticus Herodes misunderstood in some Judaic texts to be the Son of Herod Agrippa II because of his name.
