Scribal Pharisaism

Scribal Pharisaism refers to a Pharisaical movement which believed that the Oral Torah must be discussed in writing which culminated in the Mishnah-Talmud and Midrashim. It is the exact opposite of Karaite Judaism, a Pharisaical movement which opposed Talmudism. Scribal Pharisees were Beit Hillel while the Karaite Pharisees were Beit Shammai. Beit Hillel tried to work with the independent Chroniclers (Scribes) who existed at the time and hence can be described as Scribal Pharisees.

As Wikinoah was founded by Orthodox Jews and Baptized Noahides, it promotes obedience to the Chroniclers' Pharisees meaning the group which became the Talmudists rather than simply to the Pharisees (which could include the group which became the Karaites) or simply to Chroniclers.
