The Sons of God are mentioned a good number of times in Judaic tradition most notably we see them mentioned in the Book of Genesis chapters 5 and 6:2-4 and in the book of Joeb chapter 1, 2 and 38 as well as Deuteronomy 14:1 and in Psalms 29, 82 and 89 among other places. Son of God is a status recieved by people who become the children of the Heavenly Abode through Adam Kadmon (the Kabbalic Tree of Life). The Sons of God thrived during the Golden Age before the Deluge. This status came unto its own firstborn Esau but its own did not receive it. Nevertheless, to Jacob who did receive it, to those who believed in HaShem, it gave the right to become children of God, not physical children of a bloodline born of human will or desire, but children of God in a spiritual sense. Chapter 5 of the book of Genesis lists the dynasties and townships of the Sons of God during the Golden age of Sumeria before the great decline and subsequent flood. The Book of Joeb chapter 1 refers to a time when Jacob and his Children when they came from Egypt to Worship God together at Mount Sinai and the accuser stumbled into their midst.
